Leadership

A key strategy to sustain the nonprofit health sector is to develop and fortify its leadership. This can be accomplished by developing new leaders among populations or geographic regions that are underrepresented. Cal Wellness recognizes leaders by shining a light on those who are making a difference in the wellness of underserved Californians and by highlighting the exemplary qualities that make them stand out.

Our leadership programs are designed to acknowledge exceptional individuals who demonstrate leadership on important health issues. Cal Wellness’ four leadership recognition awards are:

  2. Review the instructions for completing the online letter of interest.
  3. Click “Start a New LOI” to create an account and complete the LOI. All applicants new to the Cal Wellness Grants Portal must create a password-protected account before completing the LOI.
