Wellness Evolution
Experience ignites a new grantmaking chapter.

The theme of this report – Wellness Evolution – illustrates how our new Advancing Wellness grantmaking program grew from our experience over the past two decades in addressing the health of underserved Californians. While this has always been a priority for Cal Wellness, the concept of health equity is now in even sharper focus – woven into every aspect of our work. We focus primarily on three interconnected portfolios grounded in the social determinants of health and include an Opportunity Fund to support the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors.

Cal Wellness’ 2013  Annual Report also provides an update on the Foundation’s activities for the year, financial statements, the first annual message from President and CEO Judy Belk, and a list of the year's 267 grants totaling more than $36 million. More.

This Adobe PDF version allows you to view and print the entire report exactly as it appeared in print. It includes all of the color photos from the report.
